Anthony Trollope was a prolific and successful Victorian novelist. He was born in 1815, in England, to a respectable family that had fallen on hard times. He trollopeworked for the Post office and travelled extensively throughout his life.  In 1841 Trollope moved to Ireland, where he married and published his first novel The Macdermots of Ballycloran.  He moved back to England in 1859 where he continued writing and working, with a brief foray into politics. By the time of his death in 1882 he had written forty seven novels as well as many plays and short stories.

We are lucky to have a really good collection of Trollope Folio books in stock. They are currently in our window display
